Proposal Writer
M/s Partners in Development (PID) Engineering Consultants looking for professional “Proposal Writer” having proven track record and experience in preparing and writing Technical & Financial proposals.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field
Having 3-7 years of related working experience as a Proposal Writer.
Familiarity and experience with engineering consultancy firm for government/non-government contracting will be preferred.
Qualification& Experience:
Excellent writing skills, strong ability to summarize and organize data concisely are required.
Strong computer skills are required.
Proven ability to perform in a technical role, possess good written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) to develop proposal plan and start organizing the required materials.
Develop proposal outline, compliance matrix, and proposal schedule.
Gather information by interviewing Subject Matter Experts and write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, past performance/qualification summaries and resumes.
Review/rewrite proposal inputs and coordinate with management personnel to ensure accuracy.
Create and maintain a proposal library/database – both hard copy and electronic.
Maintain inventory of all opportunities- past, present and future.
Maintain contract matrix and keep past performance information up to date.
Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintain proposal support databases.
Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinate submissions and collections; identify and communicate risks associated with proposals.
